After the final design is signed off by means of a review and face-to-face meetings with the client, we get to work sourcing the parts. We have our own 3d printer and the ability to print our designs to check elements for fit and function prior to the expense of a committed sample or any tooling. This means by the time we place orders for the prototype we can be confident it will all work and go together removing the time and expense of a 1 off trial for initial modifications. Obviously there may be certain elements that need to change or simply don’t work as well once a real life kiosk is in front of a client so at this point we make any modifications required in the CAD modeland coordinate with the volume manufacturer issuing a full package including CAD, press and bend tooling files and jig designs where necessary.
